Meet Lily and Ryan

Boise's Got Faith proudly introduces you to 4 year-old Lily King and 5 year-old Ryan Crawford:

Lily King is a tenacious lover of life.  This active 4-year-old dances daily, gardens in tutus, thinks glitter is a color, loves to dress as a mermaid, and has the ability to draw out even the shyest of people.  She lives in Emmett with her mom and her younger sister, Gemma, who she fights with fiercely but loves most ardently. Lily is also in an aggressive battle against cancer.  Lily was diagnosed with leukemia the day before Thanksgiving 2015 and is currently in the maintenance stage of treatment.  Assuming all goes as planned, she is scheduled to complete her treatment Feb. 18, 2018.

Ryan Crawford is a strong, determined 5-year-old who loves anything to do with technology, is starting to show interest in learning to read, and enjoys biology-based documentaries.  This serious, reserved boy is also always happy, often acting as the “family clown.”  Ryan lives in Kuna with his parents, older brother and two younger sisters.  Last February, Ryan was diagnosed with a rare, fast-growing pediatric brain cancer.  In the past year, this little fighter has undergone three craniotomies to remove the tumor, endured 30 rounds of brain and spine radiation, and has just began his fifth of nine rounds of chemotherapy.

We encourage everyone to honor and support Lily and Ryan in 2017, by registering for the 6th Annual Boise's Got Faith Event, which will be held at Julia Davis Park on Sunday, May 7th starting at 1:30  pm.  Registration for this year's event will be opening very soon.  As we plan and prepare for this event, we will be posting more information and making announcements with respect to the event, auction details, and ways that you can volunteer, help and support.  Continue to watch for updates at  Also, be sure to "LIKE" us on Facebook, and follow us @boisesgotfaith on Instagram and Twitter.

Above all else, we ask you all to please keep Lily, Ryan, and all of our previous honorees in your continual thoughts and prayers.  One thing that we have all learned is how powerful prayer truly is.  So, please pray, please register and we will look forward to seeing all of you Julia Davis Park as we stand together in honor and support of these two kids in helping keep those beautiful smiles on their faces.
