Thank You to Geoff Chally and the Boise Firefighters!

Thanks to Geoff Chally and the Boise Firefighters for remembering Faith as they do their part in the fight against cancer by competing in the Scott Firefighter Stair Climb in Seattle. Good luck in your climb, Chally!

Please Help Provide Meals for Lula's Three Brothers!

TO ALL THOSE LIVING IN THE BOISE AREA, PLEASE HELP! With mom out of town helping Lula fight her cancer in Salt Lake City, Lula's three brothers have remained here in Boise so that they can go to school. Lula's mom's fiancee', Sean, has been watching the boys and providing for them while mom is away. Sean works a full and demanding schedule for a local freight distributor and, let's face it, he's like most of us men-folk...not real creative in the kitchen. As Sean puts it, "I'm sure the boys are getting tired of chili-mac and pancakes for dinner." With the family already facing a very tight food budget, it's time for us to step up as a community and help keep these three growing boys fed and make sure they stay well-nourished, while mom is out of town. PLEASE JOIN THE MEAL TRAIN for this family, and let's get them some variety on the dinner table!

February 26th Update from Lula's Mom

"Except for all the puking - Lu is feeling good. She's walking now and has some of her spunk back. Although, she is really worn out and her spirit is definitely not what it usually is. She's so tired of being sick and tired. Keep praying -we're off to the tub room for a soak. Loves."

FIRST TRAINING RUN/WALK - Saturday 23rd February 7:30am

Please come join us for the first set of training runs/walks with a great group of people.
Every Saturday morning for the next 8 weeks we will be meeting at various locations in Boise to train for 3 events all taking place the weekend of April 20th - April 21st.

THIS Saturday: Meet at Camelsback Park to either run/walk 7 miles, 2.5 miles or 1 mile.

Run/walk your own pace. There is no pressure to race. Our goal is to have fun, share some stories, have some laughs, keep fit, whilst at the same time show our support for Lula and her family.

F.Y.I. If there happens to be a lot of snow Saturday morn please do not worry about showing up unless you fancy making snow angels :)
